Inspiron 5558, not finding Tmobile network

I have a Dell Inspiron 5558. I recently changed my wifi provider to TMobile 5G home wifi. This laptop does not find the TMobile network. It finds all the others including my neighbors.

I tried all the "fixes" on the Tmobile site which are:

  1. Turn off any firewalls or antivirus software. If necessary, turn these back on after you complete your data session to secure your network.
  2. Make sure you're not exceeding the maximum recommended devices on the Nokia 5G21 GatewayT-Mobile LTE Wi-Fi Gateway, or Arcadyan KVD21
  3. Delete any saved Wi-Fi network name & password settings, then try to add the Wi-Fi network again.
  4. Try a different computer or device. If it's only on one device, there may be an issue with the device itself.
  5. If possible, make sure the device works on a different Wi-Fi network.
  6. Move the device to within 15 feet of the gateway to ensure there is no interference.
  7. Turn off your gateway and any connected devices for at least 60 seconds. (I also reset the Tmobile wifi device)
  8. Turn the gateway on and wait for it to finish booting before powering up other devices.
  9. If possible, connect using the Ethernet connection and see if the Wi-Fi network is hidden. (It found and showed the ethernet connection)

It is a dual band wifi. Any ideas. Thanks for your help.

Do you happened have any resolution for this issue?

I see the same issue for my Dell Inspiron 3558 laptop. my drivers are up to date.

What wifi adapter do you have in the system?  These are both old enough that they may not have 5 GHz (note that 5GHz is separate from 5G (aka fifth generation)) wireless.

If you don't have 5 GHz support, you may have to enable 2.5 GHz support on your router, or you'll need to replace your wifi card with one that has 5 GHz support.
