Posting this here as it’s basically an xps15 and precision doesn’t have its own sub forum I could find? £2.5k on a laptop and I can’t even control my own brightness? How are dell still selling laptops with out a CABC bios switch? even more amusing were the 'solutions' provided to me by support, in order: 1- wipe the laptop and reinstall windows 2- set up a service request to replace the motherboard 3- downgrade the bios to check of the switch was there   thankfully I have a small amount of tech savvy so didn’t waste days pointlessly having to rebuild my laptop. On escalation I finally got the answer that the model doesn’t have a BIOS switch and the call was closed.   rant over- anyone have any solutions? FHD model
