Main USB PD Controller 2: firmware update failed
Logged into my Windows partition this morning and it decided to update my BIOS (XPS13 9300) to 1.4.1 upon next reboot. It took a really long time and seemed to flush lots of onboard devices along the way, however the update for that controller (see the title) failed. Has anyone encountered that? I am wondering if this could be related to my docking station dropping HDMI connection to an external monitor every few minutes (e.g. some hardware issue with the port controller). Any thoughts?

Hey @blob007, I hope is not to late.
I go the exactly same issue with a Precision 5690.
Long story short, was not possible to revert to the original bios (1.6.0).
So create this command and run using new bios file. Do not forget to remove the "{ }", good lucky.
