New Dell XPS 15 (9500) touchpad - cursor problems
Hi there, I bought my XPS 15 on December 2020 even if it arrived 1 week ago. Btw, I'm here to report you a situaiton, maybe someone can help me out.
I noticed a strange slowdown of the cursor and it looks like 0,5 later than my finger. Expecially yesterday I experienced an annoying situation. While the cursor was "slow" I notinced that it started to shake (like if I was moving quickly my finger - obv I was not doing it). Then I restarted the laptop and it disappeared.
Do you have any advice for me? I think the problem could be connected with the fact that the PC was in charging, but I'm not sure. When I use the Pc without charging cable on, it does not happen!

I am currently having a similar issue. Slow downs of the curser. And when I try to move the curser I will get very erratic movement and many times to the point where it is impossible to click where I want. I am very disappointed in this laptop. Already contacted support, they had me reinstall a bunch of drivers to no avail. I had bought an xps 9500 28 days ago, and within two weeks the trackpad became wobbly and felt unsupported like there was nothing under it. Apparently this has been a major issue. So I returned it and I was guaranteed that wouldn't be an issue again. Well, it is not an issue this time but now I have this erratic curser problem. I've spent so much time just setting up my laptop, installing all my stuff, just to have go return it once more. This is a $2100 laptop! You think it would at least work properly. I've had an old macbook from 2011 I've been using and it does better. I am definitely moving away from Dell.
