New XPS 15 touchpad & overheating
Hi there, it seems that across the board there have been issues with the new XPS trackpad. The one I ordered has a visible depression in the left bottom corner and is not registering clicks very well at all. Likewise when simply using gmail or doing a video call the fans really kick in and the keyboard becomes quite hot. If I get a new model sent out will it likely have the same production defects on the trackpad and continue to overheat when doing simple tasks?

I just purchased a new (well, open box) Dell XPS to replace the defective XPS I'm using now and I'm noticing heat issues while trying to set it up. The bottom of the laptop is very hot and the keys are hot. What the hey?! I'm concerned about keeping the darn thing and I don't want to encounter the same problem if I return it for another unit. I can't spend all of my time trying to configure new machines. Is anyone encountering a heat/overheating issue and, if so, how has it played out for you?
