Performance of 9300 Developer edition equivalent to Windows counterpart?
I am looking at getting the new XPS 9300 Developer Edition but have been worried about pulling the trigger due to performance concerns. I was curious if the the developer performance would be comparable to the windows version for gaming / overall performance. Mainly, I am concerned that the Linux drivers will not match up to their Windows offerings (but I can hope)
Currently I have the X1 Carbon 6th gen with Linux Mint installed. I do a lot of programming (Cloud Engineer) , some gaming (Starcraft II), and architecture design involving multiple VM's and Docker images. The only issues that I run into with my current machine is the sleep/wake issues, fingerprint sensor not working, lack of ram for VMs, backlight not being bright enough, and occasionally my Starcraft will drop to 1FPS.
