Restoring Factory Image - XPS 13 9365

Question

Hi! Here’s some potentially important backstory: I recently got a used XPS 13 (9365). I reset it to Windows 1709 (it’s factory version) using SupportAssist, however it was unable to update to version 20H2 via Windows Update. Since the latest versions of some programs I use require a version later than 1709, I returned to SupportAssist and successfully updated to 20H2. However my computer is having issues detecting tablet mode and compatibility with a couple cumulative updates. I’ve decided that returning to Windows 1709 is best for me. However, the option to revert to 1709 (the factory version of Windows) is no longer available in SupportAssist. Before moving on to other methods, I’d like to know if I can get the factory image for it! In addition, I’m also unable to reset to an older version of 20H2 via SupportAssist. You are better to use the Microsoft Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to get a Windows 10 21H1 Bootable USB directly. You should be able to directly clean install this build of Windows 10 on this system without any issue. Then you should be able to install Dell Command Update to get all the system drivers. I have done this on my XPS 13 9365 multiple times.
