SSD Upgrade options for XPS 13 9360
Hello,
I currently have a 9360 with the 256 SSD option and am looking to upgrade. Dell has the 500 and 1TB option but I'm looking for something a little bit more budget-friendly. I'm aware of the Samsung 960 EVO option, just curious to see what other options there are and/or if someone is using something else that is working well for them.
Thanks!

The Samsung is a higher end SSD cost wise and the price from Dell is usually higher than other retailers. If you want an SSD that is more cost friendly with similar performance, consider the WD Black, or XPG makes. They have almost identical performance at a much better price point. Examples would be here and here.

I have the same laptop and don't bother with an expensive SSD. On the 9360 the disk performance is neutered and won't run >1800 Read/Writes. Dell has refused to issue a BIOS update to remedy this. So it's not worth it to buy a PCIE Gen3x4 SSD that runs over 3000 R/W.
I installed a 1 TB Samsung 970 Evo two years ago which is supposed to run around 3300/2500 and all I get is 1800/1500. What a waste. I recently upgraded to a 2 TB SSD and I bought a cheap Team Group MP33 Pro rated at 2100/1700 R/W, since I'd be lucky to hit that on a 9360.
