Service Tag change? xps 9560
Hi
I replaced motherboard which been bought on ebay, Bios have now different service Tag number like on the bottom cover/and box there is any chance to change that for same number ?

I try fallow that tutorial asset tag I can change without any problem
But when I’m going through service tag there is problem like below:
DIAG c:/UTIL asset/s XXXXXXX
ASSET -- version 2.09 (C) Copyright 1993-2014 Dell Inc
About to change service tag. Are you sure? Y,nly
Error:Cannot change service tag
Please ensure the tag is correct format,
And the SETUP password is disabled

The service tag is embedded in the motherboard and it cannot be changed by the user. Your warranty has expired* so it's not important. Just use the model number of the computer to search for drivers. Keep both tags separate from the laptop to verify ownership in case you are asked for it. Don't allow a scan to find the computer's tag. Enter the original one manually.
*Assuming you would not be changing the board if it were still under warranty.

Ok Thats fine with me
But
Just I'm wonder if that Tag from my new motorboard (I send to You before) have any owner set up as been bought from eBay, and really say we don't know from where came from,
also warranty run out that's right
