Support Assist OS Recovery Tools update fails

Question

When I launch Dell Support Assist, it tells me: A new version is available and will be installed on this PC 3.10.3.3 But on the loading screen it indicates that I have versions 3.10.4 installed When I choose Update Now, I get the message: Software is up-to-date, the latest version is already installed Then I choose No update needed Get drivers and downloads Under Critical updates, I see: Support Assist OS Recovery Tools v 5.5.0.16046 I Click install I then receive a message: Downloading and ultimately, Failed This situation repeats every time I launch Dell Support Assist If there are other drivers to update, the update fails unless I uncheck Support Assist OS Recover Tools. Any ideas? Thank you.

Here is the Dell procedure to uninstall Support Assist and then install latest version. Give this a shot. SA uninstall/reinstall - Dell Community
