TPM Device not detected

After a system update around the beginning of the pandemic I started getting a alert saying error tpm device not detected. I spent (not exaggerating) 20hrs on the phone with dell support. Wait times to get to a technician were longer than an hour, then when I did get help we would run though all the trouble shooting steps and try to fix it but then the call would get dropped, they would never call back, this happened about 12 times ( dropped calls, wait on hold, start over with trouble shooting, hence the 20hrs) After having a breakdown on the phone with some poor soul they finally just sent me a box. I sent it away and they informed they replaced the battery and fixed the TPM issue. I got the computer back and started it up and got the TPM not found alert in addition to a clicking noise when I opened the laptop. I then began the process of getting dropped calls with dell, they wanted to do the trouble shooting steps again ( I did this 3 times, after the 3rd dropped call I would refuse) I told them about the new clicking noise and they said I would have to send it in but because its a physical issue and I'm out of warranty I would have to pay, I obviously refused. I then came to terms with the fact I spent over 2k on a laptop that dell broke and refused to fix. 8 months later (now) the clicking noise followed by opening and closing the laptop turned into a crack and the battery lasts about 40min, now I'm afraid to open and close my laptop. I called  Dell and they said the same thing, they want money to even look at it. but I'm worried I'm just going to lose money trying to get dell to fix what they broke. Any advice?
