Unable to start the bluetooth stack service
Ever since a couple of weeks ago, every time I start my Dell XPS15 I get a BTTray error message saying:
ERROR: Unable to start the Bluetooth stack service.
When I check device manager, no errors are shown.
I updated the Bluetooth drivers to the latest version, but the error is still there.
Any ideas?

This solution appears to be working on my Precision M4600. Thanks!

Same for me, thanks Rowzee. It worked on my Latitude E6530-Windows 10. I realize this is almost a year after his original post.

Rowzee's solution works: Go to 'add / remove programs.' Select WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver. Uninstall WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver.

Many thanks for the solution Rowzee - this has been a pain for me for a year or two, as each time I restarted my Dell XPS 13 9350 Bluetooth didn't work.

You post a solution that doesn't work and never reply again. Lame.

Thank you Rowzee, mate. This has been driving me nuts and I tried all drivers related solutions on line for a while and even bought driver softwares and so on. Then finally stumbled upon your post and I just got my Boom 3 online. Thank you so much.

I have this problem on XPS 15, Windows 10, but add/remove programs (apps & features) does not have WIDCOMM. Any other suggestions?
