Thank you! We have received the required details. We will work towards a resolution. In the meantime, you may also receive assistance or suggestions from the community members.
After I have received the same laptop, I did an immediate re-install to upgrade to 21.10, but the result was a disappointment. The driver performance was bad. The trackpad froze every 30 secs, the battery drained quicker, video streaming was laggy. So I switched back to Dell-provided LTS by downloading the iso image from Dell support.
I have seen a script over github where someone was mimicking the setup of his Dell but it wasn't applicable for us, since it was 20.04 as well.
I also tried to manually add the repos from the Dell installation to the new install of 21.10 but as far as I get form my limited knowledge of Linux these repos were dependent on the version of Ubuntu.
Let me know if you progress anyhow on the issue. I would like to have Gnome updates on my laptop although I wouldn't sacrifice drivers.

Hi, I'm just wondering if you received any news or if you found anything else out on your own about upgrading?
Thanks
