Upgrade XPS 15 9570 1 TB HDD to 2 TB SHDD
My XPS 15 (9570) is the basic version that comes with a 1TB HD,
I will upgrade to 2TB hybrid SHDD
Will it recognise the new drive automatically or do I have to fiddle the BIOS?

Yes, it will be fine. The system doesn't have to do anything special to deal with a hybrid drive, in fact it's not even aware that the drive is a hybrid. It just sees it as a normal SATA drive because the drive's firmware manages its own flash memory cache.
