WOL not working in Linux but Windows

I have a XPS with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS preinstalled and dock WD19TB.

WOL has been enabled in BIOS:

sudo ethtool | grep Wake-on
Supports Wake-on: pumbg
Wake-on: g

 But when i give command:

wakeonlan -i 192.168.1.3 XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

nothing happends.

I have also another XPS with Windows 11 preinstall where WOL in BIOS is enabled with another WD19TD where WOL works.

I switch the docks and suddenly WOL works ... pure magic.

Don't understand why WD19TB works in a Windows environment but not in Linux environment.

I am lost ...
