XP15 with WD19DC multiple monitors
Hi all, if I use my XPS15 7590 with the D3001 dock I can connect to two monitors at 2560 x 1440, but the dock is underpowered for this laptop. So I ordered a WD19DC dock but this can only run one monitor at 2560 x 1440, and the other at 1920 x 1080. The monitors are Asus MX27SQ and cannot be daisy chained.
The XPS15 7590 only has one usb-c so I cannot connect using the dual-cable connection. Is there any way to use a dock that's powerful enough for the XPS15 while supporting 2x monitors at 2560 x 1440?

@muso31 You need a WD19TB. That will run dual displays up to 4K 60 Hz each or triple displays up to 2560x1440 each. And it will supply up to 130W to the attached system, which is what you need. The WD19DC is designed for systems that require up to 210W of power, but it only works properly in dual cable mode with systems that have firmware level support for it, which is NOT all systems that have dual USB-C ports. It's designed for the Precision 7000 Series models. But as you found, when working in single cable mode, it works just like the much less expensive WD19, and with the same power limit.
