XPS 13 7390 Headset Microphone Problems

Question

Hello! I just got my laptop a month ago and when I was using my headset, it worked totally fine together with its microphone. But now, when I use, the Headset mic just says that it is disconnected. When I troubleshoot it, it says that the device is not plugged in.The output is fine. I can hear the sounds through the headset, but I just cannot use the microphone. I have disabled the maxxaudio pro waves app but its still doesnt work. When I go to sound settings, the headset isnt in the choices for input devices.

open MaxAudio Pro from programs> click on the speaker icon top left then choose the 'correct' output device which in your case would be headset.
