XPS 13 7390, Ubuntu 19.xx, loses WiFi

I just bought a XPS 7390 Developer's Edition running Ubuntu 18.04. When I upgraded to 19.04 the OS was no longer able to detect my wifi card. While I was running 19.04, Ubuntu Software & Updates showed that it was using an alternative driver: "Using iwlwifi driver backport in DKMS...(open source)" just as it is now on 18.04. The only difference it, in hardware settings the wifi card was not detected. Since then I restored the XPS to factory settings and I'm able to connect once again to wifi on 18.04. From what I've been able to gather, the XPS uses the Killer network card. My question is, if I try again to update to 19.04 (or 19.10), how should I restore the wifi driver? Will I be able to restore my wifi driver using the instructions from the Killer site, or is there a better way? Are there commands I should run while on 19.04 to help diagnose the problem? Is it possible that the upgrade to 19.04 wiped out some sort of kernel module that I need? According to DuckDuckGo'ing, these are the steps to install the driver over the network: https://support.killernetworking.com/knowledge-base/killer-ax1650-in-debian-ubuntu-16-04/ These are the steps to download the installer files on another computer to transfer to the affected computer via USB: https://support.killernetworking.com/knowledge-base/killer-ax1650-in-debian-ubuntu-16-04-without-internet-access/

Dell only provided support and drivers for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. You might get some help by posting in the Linux forum.
