Actually dell us has a developer edition, but you can't find one on the uk site.
Odd, I don't know, but I just ordered a xps 13 with ubuntu installed, I guess it should be the same (however it's not an i7 6 core cpu, but an i7 4 cores)
Thanks for the links, I'd like to figure out where to get a i7-10710U version from I'll contact their support team and see if they can provide any info and will post here.

I think dell isn't marketing it as developer edition anymore, but just a regular xps with ubuntu installed.
Just go to the xps product page and filter for ubuntu.
