XPS 13 9300 and Windows May (2004) Update
Hi all,
checking the system update page today, I saw an information of the upcoming availability of Windows May update (v. 2004). It however also stated that the update is offered to compatible devices and that my system is "not quite ready yet".
From the Dell website it says that the XPS 9300 has been tested (and found ok I presume).
Does anyone have any info on this?

Hi LuMe, this is normal verbiage from Microsoft. They release updates gradually in case there are any issues. If you would like to quickly accept the update, you may use the Windows 10 update tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
There do seem to be plenty of issues with this new version, though. It's up to you whether you'd like to wait a week or so for these to be fixed, or to upgrade right away! I suppose you can always "go back to the previous build" ...

See this- https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2020/05/27/how-to-get-the-windows-10-may-2020-update/
Don't force the update. Wait until it is offered in Windows Update.

I'm still getting that message in Windows Update. Has anyone actually received the update through Windows Update?

Sorry, I can't tell. My Xps13 broke down again just after I posted the message and hasn't been working ever since.

I just got the update option a couple days ago and updated it today without any issues.
