XPS 13 9315, BIOS installed, keyboard backlight doesn't work

Hi everyone,
Recently I bought an XPS 13 9315. Everything worked great for like a week until MyDell app informed me that I have some updates pending. Therefore I proceed to update them. But after a restart of the computer because of the BIOS update, my keyboard backlight stopped working. I have tried every option specified in this link but none of them worked =
How to Enable Dell Keyboard Backlight Settings
Did any of you had the same issues?

BIOS 1.7.1, 1.8.0, 1.9.0, and 1.1.10.0 state =
Once the BIOS is upgraded to version 1.6.1 or later, you cannot downgrade the BIOS to earlier versions.
If the BIOS keyboard backlight is toggle on, then once into Windows press fn + F6 to choose Off, Low, High.

Hi Chris,
I opened a case with Dell and after a BIOS upgrade and try different control panel and bios settings no luck. I even book from a memory drive Ubuntu 22.04 and was shown on the screen that the backlight command was sent but nothing was happening. Therefore, the keyboard will have to be changed because it seems like the light stopped working for good
I'll keep you posted how it ended, but is odd that a one month old laptop, basically brand new, has this issue.
