XPS 13 9333 won't boot

If have an XPS 13 9333 running UBUNTU that I'm trying to diagnose.

When I press power the keyboard lights, but no sounds and only black screen.

When I press power holding D, the screen tests fine.

When I press Fn+Power I get:

Keyboard Lights up,

6 "3-tone" beeps (like a trill) with long pauses, followed by 10 single beeps with screen cycling through different colors

Then a repeating sequence of 3 "5-tone" beeps followed by 3 sets of 3 single beeps.

This repeats until I press power to power off.

Thanks for any help.

Unplug the system, remove the base cover and disconnect the battery from the system board.

Hold the power button for 30 sec.

Reconnect the battery, replace the base cover and try powering up.  If you hear those beep sequences again, the mainboard is bad and will need to be replaced.

Same result.

I guess I need a new motherboard.   Has anyone used Parts-People ?

Any other suggestions for replacing motherboard?  I have replaced screens and hard drives but never the whole motherboard.  Do you need to swap your processor to the new motherboard? I might opt to pay the $100 flat diagnostic / and repair rate.  That sounds like a pretty good deal.
