XPS 13 9350 Touchpad issues
I'm having trouble with my touchpad lately.
I've had this issue before, but it resolved itself after a while usually - this time it does not.
Parts of the touchpad die from time to time. So e.g. 60% of the left touchpad side are not working, the right side still is. When I move my finger from working to not working, the mouse stops.
After 15s or so, the area is working again, but there might be a new dead area (e.g. bottom right)
I did not install any new driver and could never explain this issue by a software fault. So probably my hardware is damaged, maybe moisture got passed on the sides of the pad.
Is this any known issue that can be fixed, by removing corrosion from some connectors or so, or am i the first person with this issue (at least reading this post)?
I love my laptop but this behaviour is unbearable, if i can't fix it I'll have to buy a new device (which i can't afford as a student at the moment)
Any help is greatly appreciated
Greetings
Tryptamine
