XPS 13 9370 Developer Edition (Ubuntu) SSD upgrade

Hello,

I know there are some discussions about upgrading SSD of XPS 13 (9370) Windows version, which has been successfully done. I'm curious about upgrading SSD of the XPS 13 (9370) Developer Edition (Ubuntu). As described in Arch Linux: at the Storage section, it says "As the upgrade is only possible under windows and as even with upgraded driver the disk may be completely undetected by the kernel because of the SSD not being responsive in the deepest sleep mode. The following kernel parameter works as a workaround, preventing the disk to enter the problematic sleep mode..."

it seems difficult to do it. Anyone has tried this? Or Is there any tutorials?
