XPS 13 9370 Fingerprint sensor linux driver

Question

Hello,

I am dual booting windows 10 and ubuntu 20.04 (focal).

I noticed there are now fingerprint drivers for some xps 13 models,

Is there a driver available for the goodix sensor on the 9370 (usb id 27c6:5385)?

@DELL-Cares suggested that there may have been a resolution sent in a PM?

You can't because there isn't.

There are no compatable drivers for this sensor.

They would need to come from goodix and they haven't been provided, and given the age of the device now - likely never will be produced.

Hi,    How did you get this working? What did you do with the files? I'm not seeing an install script of any kind.
