XPS 13 9370, certain keys not working correctly, requires multiple keystrokes
Hello,
Dell XPS 13 9370 - The built-in keyboard is not functioning correctly; the following keys require multiple keystrokes to work: 0 - p [ ; ' /
After several (~5 or so) keystrokes on the above keys, the keys will work - but for a short time. If I leave the laptop and come back, the same situation happens. I will often miss those letters when typing, which is frustrating.
Validated in the BIOS the keys exhibit the same behavior.
I have validated that an external keyboard does work - no issues with those keystrokes.
Performed all recommended/critical updates from the Dell Support website on May 9, 2020:
- Chipset_Driver_DJT82_WN32_1932.12.0.1298_A04
- Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-Driver_H41NR_WIN_10.1.1.44_A07_03
- Intel-Serial-IO-Driver_4T04G_WIN_30.100.1725.1_A04
- Intel-Thunderbolt-Controller-Driver_TBT79_WIN_17.4.79.510_A12
- XPS_9370_1.12.1
Thanks in advance for your support.
Keys failed in ePSA Diagnostics. Faulty keyboard.
