XPS 13 9380, Bios Update not working, #2
Hello,
I just bought my new Dell XPS 13 (9380) laptop a few days ago and Dell is telling me to update my System BIOS. However, every time that I have tried to update it, it shows up as a failure. I also tried updating it through the website and it has been at 0% for over 3 hours. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

SOLVED.
I had to disable Bitlocker before running upadte.
To disable bitlocker open the Search bar and type BitLocker.
Go to setting and click disable. It may take a few minutes to proceed.
Open Dell Update and run update. Computer restart is required.
You can enable BitLocker after performing update.

I have the exakt same problem. he Dell Command | Update downloads, and 'installs' but shows as 0/1 update installed. After reboot, scanning for updates gives the same BIOS update again, but with no luck.

I managed after a while to manually download an .exe, with the BIOS update, that solved the update problem.

I also have the same problem. Was told to uninstall SupportAssist, restart computer, then redownload. Still failing.

Same problem here.
Bios upadate from July 2019 not installed.
Other updates from Dell Update works fine.
