"Did I solve my issue"? Well the answer is No I did not. No one inclusive of Dell has been able to tell me from where I can obtain a clear keyboard cover, preferebaly of silicon for my Dell XPS-13 9380 UK version keyboard.
This is a an upper market laptop, with a keyboard highly vulnerable to the ingress of dust or spillage, dry or wet.

Amazon has lots of XPS-13 9380 keyboard covers. Not one found for UK Keyboard layout. Buyer Beware!
9380 keyboard silicone etc covers. But, none suitable.
