XPS 13 Dual Monitors Wireless Connection Issue

Question

Hi guys, I am very much pleased with my XPS13 the last 3 years. Before a year ago i bought an external remote monitor and i use it to extend my screen. Because the cable connection was disturbing me i have decided t buy a Microsoft Surface Pro and use it as a second monitor. The connection would have been done wirelessly  as per the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-4rK98lseI . Unfortunately when i connect wirelessly either way (from dell xps 13to surface or from surface to dell xps 13) the connection lasts only 5 minutes or so (afterwards disconnects). Sometimes i get also errors can not connect. After this i tried to connect my dell xps 13 with my surface pro 6 through a cable. It does not work. Shall i buy something with miracast technology?  Pls advice a RELIABLE solution as it is very much important for me to use dual monitor whenever i am. FYI i have done all the updates in the intel graphic 520 and download all the windows 10 updates.

Thanks for your answer but i have already have a monitor that i connect through cable. I bought the surface to avoid the cabling mess.....but unfortunately the wireless connection is not working, this is the reason i try to find a solution. If someone has info how to sort out this i will really appreciate it. cheers..
