XPS 13 L322X error message during ePSA diagnostic
Hi,
I received an error message when ePSA was performed for the first time on my laptop. After updating the driver, the error message seems to be resolved. The diagnostic log is as follows.
Fail PSA V4222 Error 2000:01 42 Hard Drive 0 -S/N TW0V6PN8550852811377. Short self test unsuccessful
After updating the drive
Pass PSA V4222 ePSA extended test pass
Does that mean the problems with my laptop have been fixed?
Thank you.

This web page may help. But no, I would not breath easy yet. The drive could be showing signs that it is getting ready to fail. Run the diagnostics periodically and keep an eye out for any strange operation by the drive such as files missing, slow start up, taking a longer than usual time to access programs. And listen for any strange sounds such as clicking that is constant coming from the area of the drive.
