XPS 15 9570, 4K display issues

Been experiencing this weird color banding issues on my XPS15 since the past week or so. Color gradient is all messed up, compared it to my old laptop and the old laptop seems fine displaying the same things. Tried running all video display tests but its says everything is fine. Any fix?

Have you tried uninstalling Dell premier color? I had the exact same issue on my laptop after some update. Dell Premier caused the issue. I did verify it as I was able to recreate it.

1. Remove Dell Premier Color
2. Set color profile to Premier Color sRGB 6500 or Premier Color Adobe RGB 6500
Control Panel -> Color Management: add the color profile and set as default
3. Open Intel Graphics Command Center and reset the colors to default
Display -> Color-> Reset Original Colors

I have been having this issue for the last 3-4 months. Went through extensive troubleshooting, new windows installation and countless video adapter driver installations. The only thing that fixed the issue was when I uninstalled all adapter drivers and left it with the Windows base driver. This fixed the colour issue but it renders the machine almost useless, as the frame rate of any multimedia goes out the window.
The last thing that support resorted to doing is to replace the video adapter (motherboard). This did not do anything to fix the problem at all.

Below is a picture of my XPS (left) paused on the same frame of the same video with my Dell Latitude (right).

Try resetting the laptop. Download Windows 10 from the microsoft site. Open and run it, Use a completely empty pendrive, plug it in, Save the appropriate compatible windows 10 version on the pendrive. Keep the pendrive plugged it and shut down the laptop, start it again and keep pressing F12 till you see the dell logo appear, once on the boot menu screen you'll see your pendrive connected, click it and press enter. It will do a clean install of windows 10. Click Custom install on the pop up and clean all the drive partitions which will then show only one partition called unallocated space, install it there and then you'll see the setup screen.

Hopefully this will solve the problem if the issue is software related.

MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A BACK UP OF ALL YOUR DATA BECAUSE THIS WILL REMOVE ALL DATA ON THE LAPTOP!

Thank you! I did all that - I ran through clean new installation with Dell support and wiped absolutely all data and all partitions from the drive. As soon as the installation finished the issue reappeared. And this happened on 2 different versions of WIndows 10 too - on 1803 and 1903. I am losing all hope at this point.

"As soon as the installation finished the issue reappeared"
Which issue? The SupportAssist issue or the LCD issue?

I cannot tell from the screen shots what the actual issue is with the LCD? All the screen shots show is that the Latitude is greener?

Does the LCD panel BIST (Built-in Self Test) pass?

I am sorry - you cannot see the colour banding, especially in the dark areas, is off on the left (the xps)? Let me refer you to this thread, hope this could make it somewhat clearer. https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS15-Premier-Color-Issues-with-Banding-UNSUSABLE/td-p/7325003/highlight/false/page/3
