XPS 15 9570 Battery Persistence Problem

Dear XPS users:

I have been using XPS 15 9570 for about 2 years.
I'm inquiring about the battery persistence of this laptop.

The battery runs out in about an hour and 10 minutes.
It is very inconvenient because it cannot be used outside without a charger.

I'd like to know if there's a repair to solve this battery problem.
Could you tell me the cost and time required for repair?

And I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to reduce battery consumption as much as possible.
If anyone has similar experience, I look forward to your replies.

Sincerely,

Min Kim

The battery needs to be replaced;  they're consumables -- they do not last the life of the system.

There are both 3 and 6 cell batteries -- if you have the former, and do not have a 2.5" drive in the system, you can upgrade to the latter, which will dramatically increase battery runtimes.

The battery will cost about $100-150;  add an hour's labor charge with a local computer shop if you don't want to replace it yourself.
