XPS 15 9575 2 in 1 keys held down in software when using touchscreen

Hi,

I've been using the Dell XPS 15 9575 2 in 1 since May 2019, and have had this persistent issue from the day I started using it. I use the Dell Active Pen PN579X to take notes in OneNote for class and when I have the laptop folded into tablet mode, occasionally when I hover the pen over the screen it indicates that the ctrl, win, or alt key is being held down. Usually the keyboard is disabled when this happens, since the keyboard turns off when the computer is flipped around. I used the virtual keyboard to help diagnose this problem, and usually when this happens some random combination of the ctrl, alt, and windows key is being held down. The problem persists until the computer is put to sleep and woken back up. I use the computer in tent mode with a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and when using the pen, the problem still exists, except it also completely disables my keyboard from inputting anything until I put the computer to sleep. Help?

EDIT: All drivers and firmware are fully up to date.
