XPS 15 - FHD, OLED or UHD?

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Dell XPS 15 FHD+ 1920x1200. I wanted a matte screen, as a previous UHD caused me eye strain and headaches.

However, the FHD screen here, while non reflective and no strain is also just not that sharp, and I’m having regrets. Does anyone have OLED or UHD versions with anti-reflective coating? Do you find these cause eye strain/headaches or are they good to work on (mainly for Microsoft Word). I am considering returning for a sharper option.

Thanks

Emma

There's no way to answer because two individuals will perceive the same screen differently.

Consider:  UHD/QHD/etc. is not well suited to productivity applications like Word, Excel, etc.  You'd be better off with FHD.

Beyond that, your best bet is to buy from a retailer with a display model you can check before you buy.
