XPS 15 driver issues

Question

My dell xps 15 9570 downloaded a driver update and after the update applications would freeze and videos would always play an error message. My first solution was to restore to a previous version, that took about 6 hours and didn't solve anything because now that same driver update auto downloaded and ruined my computer again, so now I'm wondering if there's a more permanent solution. I recently tried resetting my pc with the 'keep my personal files' option but that also did not fix my issue. Thanks!

To the DCFAdmin who private messaged me: I can't message you because it wont let me send you a message. I either get the 'please fix highlighted areas' error (with no highlighted areas) or 'you've reached the max amount of private messages you can send' (I haven't sent any). Hopefully you see this, I really need to get this fixed for finals

I had the same problem when I updated a few weeks ago and had to do a system restore to get things back to normal. Now I've tried updating again hoping it was just a one time thing but I'm facing the same issues.

1) My youtube videos don't play- only shows error messages

2) Dell Update freezes and doesn't load
