XPS 1820 - 2 questions...
XPS 1820
Trying to find a compatible CMOS battery, OMG. What am I missing? Dell doesn't even list it as a part.
Anyone know the specs or what other machines the same battery is compatible with?
RAM upgrade: if there is 4 GB on the board and 4GB in the slot. Can I replace the 4GB chip in the slot with an 8GB to take it to 12? Can you mix sizes like that?

Yes, you can have 4 onboard + 8 = 12.

As long as the connector matches, it's fine. The voltage of both batteries is the same.

Does it matter that the Ebay one is a 2032 and in the machine is a 2016?
If I understand correctly, it just thicker.
