XPS 9500 Multiple Repairs Needed for Same Power Issue - Junk Laptop

My XPS 9500 started having power issues where it wouldn't charge when plugged in. Shortly afterwards, it would randomly turn off, even when I managed to get it charged.

I sent it in for repair and they replaced the motherboard. It came back and worked for two days or so before the issue started again.

Based on my observation, there must be an issue with the battery, power supply mechanics. Because the problem starts off where it won't charge and the battery will drain overnight. Then progress to the computer not getting the power from the battery, and then just shutting off when I try to use it.

I read some other people had the same issue with this series of laptops. I can't believe Dell hasn't recalled this piece of junk. So many customers buying high priced equipment and it just doesn't function. I've lost days of work with this laptop both with the issue and waiting on repair.

I've always bought Dell, but I think it might be time to listen to my brother in law and switch to Apple and get over the initial discomfort of a new OS.
