2. Image system after doing First Time Setup. After it's restore, I think you might even be able to use one of the built-in Windows-10 "Reset" features.
But at this point ... use as is or clean-install Windows-10 and rebuild to your liking. I suggest you then Image it (to a file, with Verify on) with Macrium Reflect or similar.

2 ways I know of.
1. Create the Recovery Drive before you erase or mess with it. IIRC, after it's use ... it then boots to First-Time setup again.
