@dcb942 The knowledgebase article about this is here. It says that if you’re affected, Dell will contact you. But it was also published in November 2020, so if you haven’t heard from them, then what you’re observing might be the level of battery drain while on AC power that is considered normal for that system, which Dell calls “Hybrid Power”. If you run heavy workloads that trigger Hybrid Power on a regular basis, then the XPS 17 9700 probably isn’t for you.
