XPS M1330 change harddisk to SSD
Dear all,
Good morning, I have Dell XPS M1330 and its working fine without any issues. I want to upgrade Hard-disk with Samsung SSD. Is the motherboard supports?
Which SSD is best for this model M1330.
Thank you.
Regards,
Bhargava.

Welcome to the Dell Community @Bhargava A
Crucial has a good variety of sizes(GB) and the 7.5mm to 9mm spacer is included.
Although it is unnecessary since the HDD connector is located above the base and the drive is mounted to the base.
Wise choice of a Samsung.

As long as it's a 2.5" SSD, it will work. This is an older system designed for a 9.5 mm drive - SSDs are 7 mm or slimmer, so you may find you need a spacer to get the drive to connect to the system board.
