Xps 15 9570 external display issues

I just bought an dell xps 15 9570 i9 and a wd15 dock.

I have two dell u2715h connected to each other and the dock.

Problem is, only one of them can run full resolution. The other is at 1080.

I have tried to update both Nvidia and Intel drivers without any luck.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The WD15's product page, FAQ page, and manual on support.dell.com all state that it can do dual displays only up to 1080p (technically 1920x1200).  This is because of video bandwidth limitations that exist on USB-C when you are using the port to carry both video and USB data simultaneously, as is the case with a USB-C dock solution. If you want to run dual U2715s, you'd need to get the TB16 dock, which supports dual displays up to 4K and even some triple display solutions because Thunderbolt 3 can carry 4x the display bandwidth of USB-C in "docking station mode".  Since you have an XPS 15, you'd need to get the TB16 version with the larger 240W AC adapter.  I wrote a technical post about USB-C's various modes of operation here if you're curious.
