Xps 17 L702 keyboard problems

Hi guys,

So yesterday a few of my keys randomly stopped working. Specifically all arrows, spacebar, b, 2 on numpad.

When i checked this morning the up arrow worked and then stopped again.

I tried uninstalling the driver but no luck. Could this be a software issue or hardware related?

Please help if you've experienced anything of this sort

Thank you

If an external USB keyboard works, the internal keyboard needs to be replaced.

If an external keyboard does not work, there's something else wrong (most likely a dying system board).

@Zuhayr

Then the next step would be to replace the keyboard.

Hey @U2CAMEB4ME I have tried reseating it but no luck, even tried cleaning the keys itself but nothing. I was 100% convinced it had something to do with windows but after trying everything I'm assuming it's the hardware itself.
