1/2 Bricks. Announced today? GA?
Hello,
Received a product update this morning , that 1/2 bricks (13x400GB) are announced. This was not an official annc that I can reference or find, but came from an EMC field rep.
Question, is there an official announcement to reference, and when will they be GA and in CXP? To upgrade, will it be a simple matter of ordering an addtl 12 SSD drives to go from 1/2 brick to 1 brick

Yes, Starter Bricks (with 13x400GB drives) will be available in CX/DX starting July 14th.

Do you know the details around the upgrade process to go from a "half-brick" to a "full-brick"? Is it non-disruptive, can it be done live, etc.

It is a non-disruptive process. Documentation to provide more details would be available around mid-July.
