Aurora R7, not turning on
Hi,
I have an Aurora R7 PC, on my last use I did a proper shutdown and prior to that it was working fine. However, it's now refusing to turn on. When I press on the power button nothing happens. I tried changing the power outlet... removing some RAMs .. GPUs... but still doesn't turn on.
I have two suspects, the Power supply and the motherboard.
I'm using the power supply that came with the pc (850W EPA Bronze PSU Liquid Cooled Chassis). There is a black button on it, when I press it, it does some kind of PSU test, the light on the PSU turns green, the PSU fan and the two case fans start spinning. I wonder if this is a sign that my PSU is fine?
As for the motherboard, I'm not sure how to test it if it's dead or not as I don't have any other PC to switch parts with. The two case fans are connected to the motherboard and they spin when I do the PSU test, does it mean the motherboard is not dead and it's transmitting power? Is there a possibility the power button board stopped working for no reason ?
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance.
