I bought a preownded alienware m14x r2 off ebay a little while back, and it was working perfectly until a while ago (cant remember when). The battery does not charge at all and the cpu ghz stay at 1.20 with utilization changing. I have tried to fix this but I am wondering wether Im supposed to buy a new battery or a new ac adapter. When I go into bios, the ac adapter type is not recognized. But when I tried the trick of taking the battry out, putting it back in and that, the battery began to be unrecognized. But these change sometimes. If i go to diagnostics, the battery healtg us at 27%, with no battery current flow at all. The ac adapter type is 255 watt adapter. Just wondering which I need to replace.
