Hi guys,

Yesterday i was just minding my own business, watching Californication and the laptop suddenly shut down.

It presented the blue screen with numbers running and then shut down. I turned the computer back on and the windows error recovery screen popped up, so I started windows in normal mode and continued my business. The same thing happened again after a while..

I started running some checks and my warranty is still valid so ill call dell tomorrow. When I put my lid down to put the laptop to sleep and then come back later and re-open the lid, my laptop was shut off and i couldnt get it to work without plugging it to the power. I'd get the windows error recovery screen when I turned it back on.

Today, with a fresh restart and after running the alien auto spy , I put the computer to sleep and the same thing happened again. And throughout the day, the laptop would keep on turning itself off while sleeping.

I've noticed that every time the computer shut down by itself, I've been running on battery, but other than that, I found no other pattern in the random shut downs. 

has anyone here ever had this issue before?

Im afraid that if ill keep using it i will end up destroying it.

Please help...
