Auto Detect - Analog Input / Entering Power Save

Having same problem as other posts - tried all fixes suggested - No Joy

XPS 720, 4GB RAM, DVI FP 19", Vista32.

Other symptoms: 2 Beeps at Power On. All 4 Diagnostic lights stay on.

Have reseated 2 MMs (used rubber band also). Have replaced CMOS Battery. Have reseated both Video cables. Monitor has 2 DVI inputs, both are connected to Video Card, with one cable using VGA Adapter. Both inputs on Video Card are DVI. Are 2 connections required? PC has been operating ok for 7+ years without issue. User said he had noticed some type of CMOS error for several months. User was non-specific nor wrote down error message. Is it worth testing with an old VGA Monitor to eliminate a Monitor issue? Dont have another Video Card for testing existing one. Any help muchly appreciated! Thanks
