I have a Dell 745 C2D desktop and i am not a tech guy. My son needs a video game.

My office technical support advised me to upgrade my Home Dell 745 system.

Can I upgrade the same system to 2+2+2+2 = 8GB Ram DDR2?

OR

Can I upgrade the same system to 2+4= 6GB Ram DDR2?

What is/are the Make & Model RAM that you recommend for this system?

My Sys current config:

Dell 745, C2D, 1.8Ghz, 500GB HDD, DVD writer, 2GB RAM and Dell 17" Monitor
