GX260/SMT Users: Read about ATI
Ok,
After reading these forums on the proper video card and the issues that the RADEON cards are destroying the GX260's, I finally heard from the horses mouth (ATI Technologies)today.
The Radeon 9500 256 AGP are compatiable with the current DELL GX260/SMT. There have been no reported issues. The All-in-Wonder and The X-series are NOT COMPATIABLE with many DELL systems, specifically the GX260/SMT. They will kill the computer.
Now, ATI offered a bios update and reccomended a specific power supply unit to sufficiently power the all in wonder and the x-series cards to make them work with the GX260's.
