USB WHEEL LOOSES CALIBRATION
Recently I purchased an ECCI wheel, from www.ecci.net, that connects to my computer via a USB port. The wheel dumps from the game sometimes during transitions from driving to the, menu, garage, etc, and some problems occur while I am playing NASCAR RACING 2003 by Papyrus. There was a different calibration issue with the red momo force wheel made by logitech and I believe the problem may infact be something to do with the USB. I called ECCI and they said that it may have to do with the fact that I have USB 2, and that the wheel uses the lower speed, and that when the USB port shifts between the two speeds it causes the wheel to dump. They suggested I disable the USB 2, but I don't know how or if it will help. I have nothing else plugged into my USB ports, and the problem is usually fixed by unplugging and plugging the USB cable. I have tried using different USB ports on my computer, but the same result occurs. Any assistance in understanding this problem or ideas on ways to fix it will be highly appreciated.
